Book values are averages of what similar cars are going for at this point in time. So they are not whatever price you can pull out of your whatever. Unfortunately, the worth of your car to you will exceed its market value. If you compare your appetite for keeping your car and incurring a risk of future needed repairs, vs. buying someone else's 350K 9kCSE, I'm sure you would choose the former. We all list reasons like: I know how I've taken care of this car, it's been pretty good to me so far, and I don't know with certainty why this other person is selling their car.
Consider that you could not have put 350K miles on many other cars with this level of reliability (I'm hoping it's been reliable and not a pain the whole way). That's the value you've gotten out of the car. For all of us who like to keep our Saabs way into high mileage, the price we pay is that the rest of the world, and even other Saab owners, will never have the level of comfort in buying our high mileage cars as we will have in keeping them. If you absolutely need to sell it, I would clean it so it sparkles and set the price just above book value.
