You need to loosen the big hose clamps and remove air mass meter. After that you open the three snap locks holding air filter cap to filter box and remove the cap.
After that it's a matter of finding a pathway to lift/twist and remove the air filter element up past turbo intake hose and upper radiator hose.
Be careful so you don't bend the black turbo intake hose too much, it can be brittle from age and heat.
