Hi,
Ok, so I posted this one earlier today, but I have been doing
more research and found this posting. I have a speedometer that
is dead in my 1995 9000 CSE, and my car stalls on deceleration,
sporadically.
My car has already been diagnosed as being a broken sensor
gear. So it would be helpful to know, was it expensive to replace
the sensor gear (i.e. the drive gear for the transducer at
the tranny)? I understand the part is inexpensive but the
repair may not be?
Also, is it possible that the stalling associated with this
problem may be someting else, such as the a worn-out turbo
bypass valve (aka "hooter valve")?
Thanks!
Tom
