Eeuroparts great experience, a couple questions. Posted by AMG [Email] (#3110) [Profile/Gallery] (more from AMG) on Fri, 2 Apr 2004 10:19:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
When my '93 Aero started to go into LHM after being warmed up, I ordered a new safety valve, check valve, and some vacuum hose from Eeuro. A few days later it turned out FedEx had lost the package. One call to Eeuro and they reshipped me a new order which arrived very quickly. Great service and highly recommended.
Now the questions: where does the vacuum hose that travels thru the aquarium and out to a tee near the throttle body come from? It appears to come from under the dash. Anyone know what it's for? Mine was torn somewhat near the tee connector.
And now the more important one: Is it possible to replace the vacuum hose that goes from the top of the throttle housing to the safety valve without removing the black plastic cover on the throttle body? I ask because there is a stripped screw holding the black cover on and I'm not sure how to remove it. The vacuum hose in question is pretty brittle and I would love to replace it, but not sure if it connects somewhere inside the throttle or if I can just unplug it from the outside. I hope this is clear enough to understand.
P.S. It appears my LHM problem is gone for now. I'd like to thank Anders, Adrian, LesH, and many many others for posting about their TCS problems. Cheers. -AMG
