I say go for it. I had a body shop do mine ($25) for me like 3 yrs ago. I think the rear end looks better as the badges were getting faded somewhat I wasn't gonna spend $$ to replace them with new ones. I kept NONE of the badges, all were removed. What I did do however was to fit one of the small swedish flag badges (like in the saab catalog) between the lower left rear tail light and bumper. Looks great!
