Adding a better BPV will not give more boost...

as Les H stated, your old one might have been leaking causing the system to compensate for the lack of full-boost. Now that you installed a non-leaking BPV (be it a Viggen 110 or CSE 103), the system needs to back off of its over-compensation levels.
The higher-boost-holding BPV (aka Viggen) will work just like the stock one, only that it will last longer due to the internals being made of brass. It will not allow for more boost since that comes from the turbo/ECU combo. The BPV's only purpose is to allow boost to be held to a pre-set limit, and then open up and allow the extra to flow out into the airbox typically when you let off the gas pedal (it prevents that extra boost from smacking back into the output end of the turbo when the gas pedal is released but the turbo is still putting out boost).
