Weirdness abounds. I've been driving in LHM for over 20K miles, with one of the TB return springs disconnected and a back-up cable spacer to keep the idle up. Recently the gas pedal went dead, but would come back after shutting the car off and re-starting.
The correct solution is to have the TCS diagnosed; not an option for tomorrow or any day in the near future. I'm looking for other suggestions only. TIA
