..for the '91-92 9000's. Other than the usual relief-of-back-pressure mod's, there's very few 'tuners' that will offer fuel and ignition mod's. The 9000 Aero is another story. It uses one embedded controller (T5) for both the fuel, ignition, and all the other engine management, including the turbo (APC) control. The '91' -'92's also have a shorter final gearing, so it will take more tuning for a T5 equipped vehicle to match the acceleration of the earlier vehicles. Your '91 is probably getting close to what a stock Aero gets, in terms of hp and torque. The Aero won't feel as fast because of the gearing. Above 65-70 mph, the Aero starts to come into its' own. With the taller final drive, the Aero probably needs another 30 - 40 ft-lbs of torque to feel as quick as the '91. However, there is a wider range of software available to safely tune a T5: MapTun and Hirsch are only two of many tuners who have safely tuned T5's to greater than 300 hp (Fredrik, at MapTun gets well over 400 hp with his). Finally, it's imperative that one uses the NGK's - remember, on a B234 engine the spark plug has more than one function: it also acts as a sensor, sending combustion data to the embedded controller to manage engine operation, in general.
