I just get the alternator fixed and here we go again.

I have had problems with the car not starting for about a year. It happens when the engine is warm. I have to turn the key 10-20 times before the car starts. When the car doesn't start, turning the key does nothing, no noise.

I bought a new ignition switch about three months ago. I installed it today, and thought my starting problems were over. Well, it happened again.

I am thinking that I might a corroded starter cable, I already cleaned up the battery end of the cable. I did a search and found something about a trans switch causing a similar problem.

Where is the starter and any tips on troubleshooting the starter? How do I check the trans switch and where is it?
