or you're in for trouble. That sealer can and will clogg components and involve additional parts replacement and/or flushing. I just replaced my small suction line [that loop hose from the compressor to condensor] due to leaking at the crimps [a Saab problem, especially on that tight loop hose]. Also, when you replace the hose be sure to replace the low side port [top of compressor] valve known to leak. I'd imagine you're seeing freon behind the compressor clutch due to leaking elsewhere [ie; the hose]. It could be a compressor shaft seal but likely it's not. This hose is $250 bucks from Saab so I advise you look through the yellow pages or call your local NAPA parts store and ask if they fabricate a/c hoses or know of a good shop who does. They can be made using the existing factory alum end fittings with couplers for about $40 bucks and are actually better than Saab OEM. New fittings can be ordered as well and a hose built [without couplers] as OEM for $80. Intall the hose with new green o-rings if a 134a system. If you have a/c experience then pull a good vacuum [vac pumps available at autozone as loaners if you dont have one] to check for leaks and if none charge into a vacuum using poper gauages and by weight. A/C repair is not for the shadetree mechanic, it is very dangerous work. Take it to a shop if no experience, charging a system incorrectly can damage YOU as well as your Saab. Visit aircontion.com if you want to get further advice.
