I swapped the 80 for a 115 on my '88 with no problems. I used the pulley from the 80, just to be sure. Took a little fiddling to get it off, but no problem. And the 115 amp unit I got (a Bosch rebuild) the spacing was exactly the same. But Rick brings up a good point, and measure it, just to be sure.

The 115 isn't really much bigger. Most of the difference is internal.
