Eric, I can't thank you enough for the excellent procedure for testing the anti-frost switch. My mechanic had tweeked it up, thinking that my loss of ac was due to the evaporator freezing. I tweeked it back down so that it opens at 37 deg.F and closes at 40 deg.F. In the process I believe I found the problem with my loss of ac - the ac relay. As the ac ran the relay would get extreemely hot and the contacts would open. I took a look inside and the contacts were toasted. I cleaned and burnished the contacts to get the relay working temporarily, but I will be ordering a new one tomorrow. Thanks again!
