Saab 9000s have woefully inadequete brakes, especially for an Aero which was billed as a sport sedan. BMWs and Porsches have the best brakes...in another league entirely.
I tried 4-5 different combinations of pads and rotors, which ranged from terrible to mediocre.
On my own car I finally went for the Abbott Racing 308mm kit. It's been great. A bit pricey, but compared to $6000 for a set of Brembos the price seem pretty reasonable.
I'm just about to burn through the last of the stock brakes under the 'wife car' and I'll probably spring for an Abbott kit there too.
