You should find the "happy medium" that your engine enjoys within the range of 0.90mm to 1.10mm.
Each engine is different and likes the gap at different spacings. If I use 0.90mm, I get awesome top-end performance, but suffer mild misfire at idle. If I use 1.10mm, I get strong bottom-end performance, but lose it at the top-end. So, 1.00mm works best for mine, and this is with a re-mapped Stage 3 ECU.
