OBD stands for On Board Diagonostics. In 1996 they came out with the OBD2 standard. it's a 16 pin connector that is used by the TECH2 and other scanning devices to check the auto for error codes.
The 1995 9000 that I have has a green plug under the passanger seat that the scanning tool plugs into. I have a OBD2 plug out of a 1999 9-5 that I could use in this car if I can find the correct pinouts. It sure would save a lot of money if I could swap these out.
