We just did the sunroof headliner in our 1994 Aero and it was not all that bad of a job.
1. Slide sunroof back and remove the 5 or 6 screws at the from of the opening holding the plastic section to the front of the opening.
2. Close sunroof and open it to the tilt position with the back of the sunroof tilted up.
3. remove one torx screw at the front of each side of the sunroof and the two torx screws at the rear of each side. Then remove the sunroof from the car.
4. You can now pull up on the front of the sunroof sunshade to about a 75 degree angle, and this is adequate to install the new headliner material. The 3M adhesive used for this job will hold the material in place after you install it even though it will be facing downward after you release the sunroof sunshade back to a horizontal position.
Good source for the headliner material is Sunshine Foam in Cincinatti, Ohio. Website (http://www.sunshinefoam.com)has color samples of headliner fabric and they also sell the 3M adhesive needed.
