I always warn my friends when they ask about buying a 9000 even though we love ours. I don't fix anything hard myself. I have a very good Indie but he is about $60 per hour which while very fair can add up very fast.
I have spent $1150 in the last year and $2150 in the last two years keeping it going. While that is a lot it is less than $100 per month which makes it the cheapest car to own. Most of that was to keep the A/c going and it works great -- better than when it was new for some reason. I am sure I just jinxed that.
