Bought it at 285 8 month ago. Timing chain rattle was there. Replaced chain, guides, sprokets, tensioner, balance shaft chain, guides, tensioner, sprokets, oil pump o-ring, main seal at 296k ish.
Thing runs alike a scared cat! Its funny when the GT stangs or C5s come to me on the streets or highways... always fun to let them know that yes, saabs are fast..hehe
303k 2.3L...perfect compression and such (knock knock) spike to 22psi taper to 18psi...come and get me...lol
