Tranny: From 87 Turbo to 91 Non-Turbo

I have done research on this board and at Quasi's site (and more) and I still have some questions.
Donor Car: 87 9000T 2.0L 5-speed
Recipient: 91 9000 2.3L non-turbo 5-speed
Concerns:
1. Will the transmission from the 87 bolt up to the 91. One of the posts from this bulletin board indicated that the tranmissions from the 2.3L motor turbos were "backwards compatible" but that the 87 might not bolt up properly. Quasi's site makes no mention of a difference in bolt pattern.
2. Inner drivers. I understand that the inner drivers are different. I was planning to remove the drivers axle from the 87 (along with the donor transmission). I was thinking that I could just swap the tripod joint from the 87 axle onto the 91 axle... is this correct?
3. The clutch disc and pressure plate from the 87 are nearly new and I would like to use them. Am I safe in doing that? The parts lists make it look like the clutch disc is different for turbos and non-turbos. It also looks like there is a difference between the discs for the early and later 2.0L turbos. I am hoping to hear that the clutch disc and pressure plate are somewhat flexibe... so that, as long as they fit together, then everything's fine.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Markus
