Tom,
I remember the '92 Griffins. They came as the CD-version 9000, and had a special Italian wool covering on the seats, were fully loaded on the interior, and even had a secondary A/C system mounted in the trunk to provide better cooling to rear-seat passengers. This is about as close as SAAB ever got to producing a "limo". The vehicle was oriented towards the high-end, high-buck consumer. They were available as 5-speeds, also, if memory serves me correctly. You'll have to gauge the level of SAAB-ness you (and perhaps your better half) can tolerate/enjoy. If you get it, please post some pictures and give your impression of the vehicle.
