Sorry for the post yesterday. There was a pulley on EBAY and I was looking for a quick answer. I have since checked out quasimotors.com.

So I have now driven my 95 CSE a few times. I am happy with the car but there are a few things that need sorting out and I want to do some preventive maintenance.

I got some maintenance records with the car. You can see them here,
http://www.rgalea.com/1995_SAAB_9000_CSE.htm

- The fuse cover on the passenger side does not seem to like staying closed. Is there a solution to this?

- The temperature sensor inside the car is making that clicking sound. Has anyone had luck cleaning one of these or is it best to just replace it?

- The serpentine belt needs replacing and possibly the tensioner also. Sometime when under load at low revs the car makes a dieseling sound (like when a car keep running when you take the keys out). Could this be the tensioner?

- There is an exhaust leak. I am hoping it is the extension pipe and not the cat

- The upper engine mount is seperated. I will have the lower mount checked as well.

- I want to have the power steering fluid changed

- I want to have the clutch bled

- I plan to check the coolant hoses. Not sure about this Bar's leak stuff.

- I plan to check the CV boots

- According to one of the Charles River SAAB receipts the lower control arm busings and caps need to be replaced

- It turns out the car has been getting regular oil not synthetic. But it was changed every 2.5-3K. I am assuming it would be good to move it to synthetic. I assume Mobil1 is fine. I have heard that when making the switch you should dump the first lot of synthetic out after 50 miles as it removes sludge from the engine.

- Is there any point in changing the gearbox oil or swapping it to synthetic?

Can anyone spot anything I have missed? I would like to do some of this myself but the car lives in the street. I could probably take it to a friends house for a day. How hard is the serpentine belt/tensioner to replace? I believe I need a special tool tool to press new bushings into the top engine mount?

Finally I would like to get snow tires for the car. What size wheels/tires should I aim for?

Thanks in advance,
Rupert
