I want a Saab used - need help picking

During my search for a second car, I have become obsessed with Saabs. The thing is that I am not sure which one. Drove a friends 9000 cse and it drove wondefully, but finding a later model (98) with low mileage (under 90k) and in excellent shape is difficult. I drove a 1999 9-5 and it felt and looked great although I did miss those extra horsies. Am I foolish to look at the 9-5 or 9-3? The later models are attractive since they have less miles, more amenities but I worry that the 9-3 and 9-5 will be more trouble, more problems. I want to spend around $8k or $9k and there are a lot of choices in that price range.
