DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY REPLACING ANYTHING! throwing money and parts at a problem until you happen to stumble upon the correct thing is absurd.take the car to indy or dealer and have it scanned to find THE problem. i have read hundreds of posts on this site from owners. some pretty good, and some pretty dumb. there are so many things that can cause the TCS to go into limp mode, it is frustraiting!!!!!!!!!! being in the import repair buisiness i see this all the time. i have 2 92' Griffins and have been through what you are going through before. do yourself a favor. have a pro look at it first. for one thing you'll get piece of mind and second, you can take it home attempt the correct repair yourself. but you might end up having to go to a shop to get it calibrated any way. Peter sent you in a good direction. check all vacume hoses first. but the safety and check valves do'nt usally have problems withthe vacume aspect. the contol unit does'nt look at resistance of the coil inside these valves either, so checking ohms does'nt usally tell the story. the control unit looks at current draw, which will change when the valve is under load, or just doing what it is supposed to do. so the only way to know for sure is take the car to Saab mechanic and find out the ONE thing that is causing your problem. thats my 2 cents worth. hope it helps.
