1988 9000. last year master was rebuilt and new slave cylinder and clutch were fitted. about 9months later first gear gets hard to select after coming to a stop at traffis lights or the like. it would be OK when the car was cold but when hot would happen regularly.I took it back to the mechanics who replaced the clutch etc. The 4 clutch springs were worn as if the clutch was used agressively but I don't drive like that. So any way new clutch pressure plate and master cylinder kit is put in, everything is beautiful but after two weeks the problem has returned. Once warm, first gear is very difficult to select it just wont go in. I have to try putting it into other gears ( while keeping the clutch in) eventually the shift frees up and I can get it into gear, Clutch operation seems fine. After the first clutch replacement the point of clutch engagement would be different when hot, compared to cold. Rubber shift coupler is fine.
