Completed the V6 Swap on US '95 900 CDE, after 2 weeks. I used 2000 Saturn L-series V6 long block with SAAB intake and engine control system. Passed CA emission test without a problem. Saturn long block is cheaper, newer and much easier to find. It run smooth, but the gearing on auto trans is tall, and the car is sluggish. I really have to punch it, if I want to have decent acceleration. Once it's at 70 mph, the car picks up fine. But I like the fact the at 70 mph, on-board computer shows 32 MPG. If anybody wants a summary, shoot me an e-mail, and I'll reply with attachment.
The ride is fine, brakes are weak. Does anybody know of a good brake upgrade?
