The spray paint on eeuroparts is not for the aero wheels as it's silver, not gray. Their page even says it's not. If you can locate a gray that looks close, since you are spraying all four wheels, it won't matter too much if it's not the factory color. If you polish the lips, use sandpapers(not polishes), start with rough papers, then progress to finer paper. If you have oxidation on the lips, a fine paper will take forever to remove it or smooth it out. The link below I started with 80 grit because my wheels were pretty rough to begin with. I next went to 320 grit and was happy with the shine, so I didn't use any finer paper. The shinier you want the wheels, the finer the paper you need to use..ie. 400, 600, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500.....One site I found on wheel re-finishing suggested using the grits I mentioned above "wet", (wet sanding) instead of dry. That's your choice depending on the results you are getting.
Whatever paint you choose to use, be it lacquer, enamel, or urethane, make sure you use the same type of clearcoat, as paint systems don't like to be mixed. TML suggests using a DuPont product that has to be mixed, then sprayed. Sure it will be harder and more protective, but not everyone is set up with a compressor and spray gun to paint.
