Ordered new radiator, how to clean out block?

Hi all,
I gave up as per instructions on radiator that worked but
had a crack in the plastic at the upper hose. Now I want to
be sure the block is flushed out before I install the new radiator,
and my plan is to install and use a flush out T before I replace
the old core. Does that seem like the best way, or is there a
better way since the radiator will be out for a (hopefully)
brief time.
Thanks,
MichaelO
