Hi Gavin,
Bored, with stomach problems
tonight so I thought I'd go fishing.
Ok - first, our stocks are 21 lb.
second - plenty of people like the
upgrade to 24 on the performance board,
but note that they run lean at
high rpm with your pressure.
third - some folks strongly lean towards
27 lb., especially with the types of mods
you have made.
Jak posts a great deal about injectors, search on
injectors, then click on more form Jak when
you pick up up one of his posts. Or maybe he'll jump in
on this thread.
Here's a thread in the performance board about injectors
that includes some comments from Jak about injectors:

Swedish Dynamics says we have 21 lb injectors and seem to recommend 27lb for what you want at 20psi
here's a link to their discussions:

I infer from their discussion that a rising rate fuel
presure regulator would be an appropriate mod to consider.
They're not cheap. Note that our system, with the
LH is different from some of the later models, so
info on Volvo 70's, green giants etc, is not relevant to
the '90 9kt, nor are references to Ford injectors.
I don't know where you could trade out a
set; but Accel comes up a lot, and so do certain lines
labeled GM on one side Bosch on the other. There seems to
be a high probability that you should find a set that
is compatible easily. Fit doesn't seem to be an issue often
with the Bosch's. If they are supposed to fit, it should be
quick.
Here's a pretty heavy duty list of info on fuel injectors:
http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm
Other mods that are discussed with a change in fuel injectors included
ECU remapping (but you've done that, right?), some people
have changed their fuel rails, and others changed their
fuel presure regulator. A common mod is a rising rate
fuel presure regulator.
Hope this is of some help.
Buck
