The V6 is not known to be a particularly reliable engine, better than the 2.5 in the 900's but nowhere near as good as the 2.3 or even the older 2.0's. Since you don't have any records on the car, I'd make sure that you got the timing belt changed ASAP, unless you can find out when the last time was that it was changed. They need to be changed at certain intervals, but I forget what the intervals are. That car has low miles, so it may never have been changed. Darn I wish I could remember if its every 30 or 60k miles! But personally I would stick with a 2.3 turbo, but thats just my opinion.
