Light pressure turbo, automatic, for $2000. This is the 3rd 9000, 6th Saab I've owned.
Lots of little problems, but the price was right.
Go over the car very carefully, run everything. If you can DIY most repairs, a Saab is a great car.
This is a sophisticated car. A seat motor or Climate control problem car cost lots to fix.
If you'll need the work done in a shop, keeping things going can be incredibly expensive.
The ABS issue will cost anywhere from $100 to $1000 to fix. The only way to diagnose the problem is to have a Saab dealer or indy hook up his computer and read the fault codes.
The ABS light on means the ABS system will not function, even though the brakes will work.If the dealer isn't willing to fix the problem, this should be a point for serious price negotiations.
If you don't want to take the chance, take the car to a Saab dealer and just get the codes read. This should give a rough idea of repair costs.
