You obviously want it, and will only listen to someone who reinforces the option you've already decided on (buying the car in spite of everyone telling you not to).
You KNOW this is a bad deal, but you want the car.
If so, go ahead and buy it, but don't ask us to tell you you're doing the right thing.
There are a lot of used Saabs in the world.
The only Saab I ever owned that disappointed me was one with VERY low miles for it's age and GREAT paint.
I could see some (but very minor) overspray on some of the door stickers
and gaskets, but it was SO NICE I bought it anyway. The car was great until winter.
OK in snow.
BUT, on ice or slushy snow, it was worse than any car I've ever owned (including a 66 Mustang fastback, tweeked 289, incredibly light rear end).
After trying diferent tires and 2 separate 4-wheel allignments, I traded the car off. The only thing worse than being passed by rear wheel drive chvy impalas every time the road got slick was how scared I got if I tried to keep up with them.
Either keep looking, or quit asking about this car and buy it!!!
