Here's the thing...
The crazy thing....
The pedal is still firm this morning, after a few days now since bleeding, still drips off the trans when I pump the pedal, and drives around perfectly fine without losing any pedal.
Is the new OEM master simply overpowering what are otherwise good aftermarket slave seals??
But the seals are good enough to prevent air leakage?
Perhaps aftermarket new slave cylinders fail because the OEM masters are cheap enough and easy enough to get and, like a new master and an old slave, the increased pressure in the system overpowers the weaker slave seals??
Are only OEM masters and OEM slaves mated with enough quality to last for 10+ years??
On Monday morning I actually lost some pedal while pumping to check fluid drips, and then it sealed and the pedal re-pressurized and came firm, where it's been since despite lots of fluid leakage when pumping pedal.
Is this the reason why aftermarket slaves fail so quickly, even if they are supposedly OEM quality?
