Report on SRS Light Fix

Okay. Promised I'd post the results after I'd replaced the harness connecting the left front sensor (over the left fender in the engine compartment) with the retrofit harness issued by SAAB.
It WORKED!
I might add that I'd swapped out the sensor itself first with two others (provided by my brother, pulled from his '93 parts car). Clearing the codes with an ISAT didn't cure the problem, and I couldn't imagine that three sensors could all be bad. I'm using one of those aforementioned three sensors with the new harness.
Been running the car about a week, and no SRS light -- at least yet.
Worst part about this job is squeezing yourself under the driver side dash, under the steering wheel. Other than that, you'll need a good pin extraction tool to remove the original harness pins from the ECU connector (got mine through my Indie's Snap-On guy). Also, if you attempt this, be sure you disconnect the battery for at least 1/2 hour, and leave the ignition key in the "off" position.
Hope this is of help!
