Tell the family memember that it will be on his head if you get hurt in an accident in the Grand Am, God forbid you have one. Cuz the Saab is so much safer. If you're in a snowy climate, the Saab will be ten times better too. Personally, I think that you should be able to choose what car you want, since you'll be driving it daily and not him. Send him here to TSN and we'll talk him into it for you!
My friend had a Grand Am (now its totalled, another long story, needless to say my Saab would not have been) and one day he accidently elbowed the door panel. It left quite a nice dent. Goes to show that yes, they are made out of recycled tuna fish cans, and maybe even recycled newspaper. Hope he changed his mind, cuz now you're always going to be wishing you got the Saab!
