The wastegate is not stuck. If I blow air into the wastegate inlet, it moves, and then moves back when the pressure is removed. The actuator also moves if I blow air into the BPC R port, or the BPC C port. If I blow air the opposite way, into the hose connected to the turbo, it flows freely.
I took off the air intake, and can spin the turbine freely with my finger. Is there a way to check if the exhaust side turbine is frozen?
The boost gauge shows vac at idle.
The BPV that I have is simply a rubber diaphram and a spring. If both of those are in tact, I can't fathom how it could possibly not be working. I don't have a vac pump, but I have another BPV I will swap in.
