At 15 years old, a '90 is an old car. It's not unique or rare enough to be a collectible. Therefore, it just sits in the sea of 'old used cars.' In this group, it's basic cheap transport, and is lumped in with everything from old Volvos to Chevys. And when it comes to old cars, non-American cars scare folks off from a parts cost/repair standpoint.
The price of used cars drops to a point, and then pretty much stays there. So the price for a '90 probably isn't that much different from a '93. Most folks are going to go newer, because 15 years old is a scare-off.
I've got a '92 that I bought new, and has only 66K. The car is an absolute creampuff, with shiny paint, no rust, perfect interior, and runs great. Heck, the engine compartment looks clean. Who could I sell this car to? Good question. The fact that it looks clean helps. But this car is worth far more to me than I could sell it, so I'll keep it forever.
