Fresh with the experience, I can give you what you need from memory...

1. 5 speed transmission,
2. rear engine mount bracket/bearing housing,
3. shifter and pedal assembly,
4. edu on the instrument panel,

Hope I did not miss anything.

I think that's it. If you have a turbo, you need to plug a hole on the aluminum intake pipe. I guess not removing the engine is doable. But I did remove the engine. I think it is easier that way.

Many people use a parts car. That would be the best way. Due to space lmitation and other reasons, I didn't have a parts car. I drove 300 miles to Orange, MA to get my conversion package. Paid $600. But I sold the auto box in less than a week on Ebay for $300. I think there is more demand for the auto box than the 5 speed. In the end my schedule is very much hampered by parts availability.

In my case I have a 94 cde fpt. It has a larger drive flange. The conversion package I bought is from a 95 lpt, which has the small drive flange. Waiting for the right parts took some time. But I can voucher for John at Rumrill's garage. He is committed to customer support if you buy the package from him.

Is it worth it? It is a lot of work. I think it is worth it though. If I have to do it again, I would have picked summer to do it.
