I'd check the AC to be sure it's working and blowing cold air. Then I'd look for bad heater hose connections to the core. I'd also check the Recirc Flap by disconnecting it and opening and closing it manually, looking for sticking or other binding. How did your Indy check the heater core? As I recall, the core is buried under the blower and AC assembly; a time consuming and difficult procedure getting in there. There may also be leaks in the gaskets sealing all the plumbing on the air ducts. In looking at my 94 Aero's ailing ACC, I notice that the boot between the AC Evap and the Blower Housing is disconnected at the bottom of the junction, which would let in any moisture that has built up in the aquarium. There are areas in there that don't drain well, and certain kinds of jostling (like going over a bump or curb) could possibly churn up and send moisture into the system.
Lots to think about and explore. Good Luck! -Cal
