...the white-blue smoke could be other things: bad valve guides or even a clogged PCV valve. The white smoke could be the start of a headgasket. Pull the plugs and check them: if there's a hint of oil, then the oil is probably draining past the guides into the cylinders and will burn-off when started. They can be changed without the head being removed. If you're still getting blue smoke while driving, then I'd begin to suspect the seals in the turbo. Oftentimes the oily smoke will do a job on the IAC solenoid and you'll notice a hunting idle.
