I was driving home yesterday at around 6:30pm. Temp was nice chilly 20 deg F and dusk was settling in for the night (getting dark out). I set the cruise at 75 mph and was effortlessly cruising, when I remembered that I forgot to hook the AIC valve back up on the valve cover after the headbolt retorque couple of days ago. So I pulled to the side of the highway (this was about 10 minutes into cruising)and opened the hood. I was very surprised to see that the turbo was glowing orange. Again, I was just cruising at highyway speed on cruise control. Is this normal? I can understand if I had raced the car, but at a 75mph cruise? Or is there something wrong with turbo cooling line? Your feedback would be appreciated.
