oil in turbo hose

Was checking all the hoses on my '92 9KT and noticed an appreciable amount of oil in the large corregated hose that sits between the AMM and the turbo. Is this normal? Is any amount of oil in here normal? It was enough to dirty the mesh screen on the AMM. I do see that there is an oil line going into this hose (not sure why) right near the intake of the turbo but the oil was spread over the entire length of the hose.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Chris
