Is there a documented way to disable the air bags? I remember there being a service bulletin for the NG900, I was wondering if there was a similar thing for the 9000. I have a '97.
I've long thought the benefit of air bags were questionable at best. If you have your seat belt on, the air bag will do little if anything, except they have a tendency to break thumbs, and arms. Maybe side air bag might do some good, but I don't have those. If you're not wearing your seat belt, the air bag will probably break your neck and kill you. Now that I've got the SRS light on, I'm really reluctant to pay to get it turned off.
