Mine failed after giving me a weeks notice, which I failed to diagnose. The car was very hard to start when warm. I'd have to let it sit until cool enough, which became longer and longer, and then it wouldn't give me trouble until I stopped and tried to start again.
BTW never buy a used pump. Buying used pumps (even with 3 month warranty) made me spend my entire year's AAA towing quota in one month. Apparantly they go bad sitting dry on the shelf.
