In my view, I really like the original body style of the 9000, '85 to about '90. 1991 was also cool too as it kept much of the look except for the front end getting a slant which stayed until 93. 93 and on got the new body style and while I admit that I prefer the original style the most the later style is pretty neat once I started seeing more of it and studying the lines of it. '91 is a good year indeed. It had the 2.3L engine 200 hp to go along with the original look. The later models like the Aero, however, I think have it all: performance and look--after you get used to it, of course. Overall in my view I prefer the 80's model up to and including '88, '91 models and then Aero post '94. 94 and 95 Aeros had TCS as an option, 96 and 97 did not have it. Basically anything with TCS causes my blood to run cold.
