Orange is base shock - take a look at the fronts Posted by Bill Homer [Email] (#3427) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bill Homer) on Tue, 5 Apr 2005 18:41:57 In Reply to: color bands on rear shocks 1995 Aero?, Tom S., Tue, 5 Apr 2005 16:18:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My '94 CS Turbo has orange band shocks. The Aero shocks are probably brown or grey, take a look at the front shocks they should be the same. It's much, much easier to replace the rear axle by undoing the top shock bolts, the bottom bolts are usually frozen to the axle bushings - my guess is that this is what your mechanic did. I hope that he used the firmer Aero springs instead of the CS/CSE springs - I can't help you on the color bands for those.
