press on the pedals then while in your best contortionist way reach up to the switch and pull out on the plungers (they ratchet out and in to self adjust)then let the pedals push them in again. then if you remove the hose from them and try to suck air through them they should be sealed shut reattach the hoses and try your cruise. most failures are do to the switches being out of adjustment, brake lights on, or blown fuse.
