Chip replacement, worst case scenario? NO start

My 1990 CD Turbo, 2.0 liter will not start after trying to install upgraded chips in the DI (#9119397), and Jetronic systems (#0 280 000 583). I reinstalled the stock chips, but still no start. ANY kind of help would be great. I've done the obvious double-checking. Maybe I'm just forgetting something. Why won't the damn thing start after reinstalling the stock chips? I'm going to walk away for a few hours and go soak in the hot tub and hit a Starbucks.

The one good thing that has come out of this- I found the spare key way under the driver's seat...........(beer half full)..............
