So after my previous clutch/CRSaab posting a call and tow to Automotion was put in motion--- I get the call the very next afternoon
he tells me it was the hose to the slave, to which he fixed w/o having to
remove the trannny and that I had an axle-something or other leak so he also fixed that.......
all done TODAY total cost of $505.66 in comparison to the GUESS-timate from Chas. River Saab being "an internal leak of the slave cylinder" even though they admittedly had not gone in to actually see if this were true or not... and quoted me $1800.00
So CRSaab could diagnose the real problem after I told them I found fluid right away, did not check the hose or they were flat out lying to me in
hopes for me to pay up that amount for a repair that was not what they claimed. On top of that they told me over the phone it was the master cylinder first and I okayed that repair only to be told later that is was the "mysterious interior leak that have yet to actually see'
I am telling you-- I know they are a TSN sponsor, the oldest Saab dealer
in US, and play a part in the Swedish Car Day event plus others but this was poor and inexcusable in my opinion as to how they handled this.....
