96 CSE alarm problem

I have just recently bought a 96 CSE with 90k miles on it to replace my 88. Every other night, the alarm will go off during the middle of the night. It is definatly not caused by the interior sound detector being set off by trucks or motorcycles because my driveway is nowhere near any traffic, and there is never loud vehicles on my street.
What I would like to do is permanetly disable the alarm. I live in a very quiet area of Wisconsin, so I have no need for the alarm. I found the link to the Townsend site, but it won't load for me.
Is there any way to disable the alarm and also still be able to use the remote to lock/unlock the car? If not, I have no problem just using the key in the door since that's what ive been doing on the 88 for the past 13 years.
