There was a brief period of model confusion by Saab around that time where there multiple combinations. Some CS models had FPT engines and some CSE models had LPT engines. The CS and CSE referred to trim levels (leather seats, wood dash, sunroof) and not engine power.
If there is no boost gauge, it is a LPT. The ECU will also be LPT, so if you want to convert it you will need a FPT ECU and the BPC valve and plumbing.
